About Me

November 2009Hi, and welcome. My name is Mike Zarandona, and this is my personal website. I live in northern New Jersey, and I’m an avid technology enthusiast. Life for me begins with the most basic of vices – the ever present hunt for that elusive perfect cup of coffee and the latest & greatest in gadgetry. I’m an avid guitar player and music lover, and venture out to concerts and shows whenever possible. I’m also a (junk) foodie, and can’t think of a better spent Saturday than getting lost on the way to a distant town seeking out a locally famous burrito.

To pay the bills I’m a professional geek with over 15 years of experience in web development, hardware and software desktop support, and all-around “IT guy” services. I even helped start a company called DesignedFor{dot}com to pursue the professional development & design of websites. I have attended DeVry and Montclair State Universities, and have taken many self-led and online courses on my continuing path to Information Technologist guru-dom. I have worn many hats – such as web developer, web admin, SEO specialist, software debugger, IT support manager, networking guy, blogger, Mr. fix it, remover of viruses, laptop trainer and behaviorist – among many others and I’m always looking for the next challenge.
